My desire has always been to help people. I received my BS in Kinesiology from West Texas A&M in 1995. I was a track athlete all through HS and at the Collegiate level. I ran track and cheered for Wayland Baptist University and just cheered at West Texas A&M. After graduating I didn’t know what to do since I was no longer in organized sports. I stepped up and subbed a class one day when the instructor didn’t show, and fell in love with Group Fitness. I became certified in AFAA for Aerobics and Personal Training. I’m also certified in Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Combat and Body Jam. I have been a full time Personal Trainer & Aerobics Instructor for 20 years, and now I have the privilege to share my passion to motivate and encourage others at Flex24. I have the honor of being the Coordinator over the Group Fitness and serve as the Assistant Manager of Flex24. I love the energy at our gym, love our members and love motivating others to push past their own fears, and excuses to succeed and reach the personal goals they have for themselves. Makes me very happy and fulfilled!

Marissa Lopez

For as long as I can remember I have been trying to watch my figure. Being teased as a kid for my weight was something that I struggled with for a long time. As I got older, I thought walking on the treadmill and eating less was the key to being fit, but boy was I wrong! After having my 2 kids, the weight just would not come off… I had to actually read and research about true health and fitness. I learned to love being strong and not skinny. I learned that weights are amazing and the treadmill is not the enemy. After starting my fitness journey at Flex24, I learned that people don’t just work out to be thin, they work out to build strength and muscle. Now several years later, I focus on eating healthy when I can and working out at least 3 times a week. You have to make time for these things but not let them consume you because a healthy mind is just as important as a great looking body! I love this lifestyle and the changes we go through as we learn. Wherever you are in your journey, know that I have been there too and there are many roads to health and happiness.

LesMills Body Pump-6/2013, LesMills Body Combat-3/2014, LesMills Body Attack-5/2015, LesMills Body Step-5/2015. –One stop body shock Group Fitness Leader. CPR/AED Certified. My husband and I have been together for 15 years. After my third child was born, my mother in law purchased me my first gym membership. We started attending the gym together regularly in the evening. We would run on the treadmill and do the weight machines to the best of our ability. All the while we would notice a group of ladies going into a room to different classes. We were a little intimidated at first but we finally gave the classes a try. That’s all it took and we were hooked. Doreen instructed us through Body Pump and Combat. I even started attending classes on Friday (Body Step) Doreen has always been a great inspiration to me. Eventually I became a certified instructor. Now I get to inspire other women on their fitness journey. I look forward to more certifications and more classes with the wonderful friends I have made in the group fitness world.

I’m a proud parent of 1awesome son who motivates me to continue living a healthy life style on a day to day basis!! Lead by example! I am a part of an amazing organization who promotes healthy life styles to anyone who’s willing to push themselves to become better #FLEX 24! I work with an amazing group of leaders who also flourish with expertise in group fitness motivation and have the drive to become better every single day! Georginna Coss

Hi, my name is Georginna Coss but everyone calls me Ginna! My husband and I have been married for five years now and we have a beautiful daughter whom means everything to us and we hope to continue growing our family and have more beautiful children. I stay at home with my daughter and love every second of it. My second home is the gym! I absolutely love my gym and all the people there. Everyone is so inspiring and motivating that you feel like you are a part of a whole other family! Fitness was not always easy for me. I was always overweight and struggled a lot during junior high and high school with being healthy. It was not until after I got married that I discovered group fitness. In fact it wasn’t until after I had my daughter that I truly found what worked for me and that was RPM! Instantly I was hooked and loved the euphoric feeling I had during and after every class. I have been certified for about a year now and it’s the best thing that has ever happened to me! I have never felt better! My energy is great and I have been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Never beyond my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be a group fitness instructor and leading a class. It makes me proud that now I can motivate and inspire other people the same way I was inspired when I was struggling sitting in the back row of a class and just not happy at all. We learn something new every day and every day is a chance to get better at whatever we do. I love my family, I love my gym, and I absolutely love being an RPM instructor!

HOMETOWN: Ciudad Juarez, Mexico

Credentials: Body Pump 2002, Pilates 2003, Zumba 2009, CX Works 2011, Sh’Bam 2012, Body Attack 2012. I was born in San Jose, CA but was raised in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I have been happily married for 25+ years, have 3 beautiful children and a handsome grandson. After God and my family comes my love for working out. I was six years old when my grandfather put me in dance, if it wasn’t for him driving me to and from practice, I don’t think I’d be so attached to dance. I fell in love dance and continued to pursue dance through my high school years by joining the dance team my JR and Senior year. My family moved to Odessa in 1990. In 2000, I started teaching Step at the YMCA, I figured it was the closest thing to dance and I was able to get a good workout in at the same time. I enjoyed it so much that my dance moves I would add in to the middle of my Step routine would get me into a little bit of trouble. I then entered the wonderful world of Group Fitness with Les Mills in 2002. This is when I went to training for Body Pump. It was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life. The feeling of accomplishment was the best feeling ever! I then pursued Pilates in 2003, Zumba in 2009, CX Works in 2011 and Sh’Bam 2012. In November of 2012, I joined an awesome group of ladies who all went to get certified in Body Attack. This program assisted in the Launch of Group Fitness classes for Flex 24! I couldn’t ask to be part of a better gym, this is not only my second job but my home away from home. There is nothing better than to leave work and come unwind with amazing people. I can honestly say that I started teaching maybe for the wrong reasons, struggling with weight is not easy, I wanted to be skinny and toned, until one day it hit me. Why am I doing this? (Life of an instructor is NOT easy!!!) I realized that it might be hard learning a new routine every three months, might suck the life out of you but will never be better if you don’t give the members your best effort. Les Mills gives us the tools to do that. I feel in love with the people. The beautiful women that give me an hour out of their busy lives, who come in to feel free, relaxed, becoming healthier and stranger are the best! I love to workout with other people. I love to make people feel connected with one another and just be happy. Zumba is my first workout love but I also love all the classes that I teach and my friends/sisters teach at this gym. Classes are fun, they may be tough at the start but the toughest part is walking into a class! Always give it a go, come in and have fun in a class! Can’t wait to see you at Flex 24!

Kevin Homsey

My name is Kevin Homsey; I am an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer and Certified Strength and ConditioningSpecialist. I have 15 years’ experience in Exercise Science, including an extensive background in Bodybuilding, Powerlifting and Martial Arts. As well as an extensive knowledge of sports and general fitness nutrition. I enjoy working with anyone from beginners to seasoned athletes or people who just want that extra push.
